Data Processing on this Internet site

PALAST GbR automatically collects and stores information in its server log files that your browser transmits to us. Such information is as follows:

 

  • browser type/version

  • operating system used

  • referrer URL (the site previously visited)

  • host name of the accessing computer (IP address)

  • time of server enquiry.

Such data cannot be allocated to specific persons by PALAST GbR. No joint use of this data with other data sources is made. And after a statistical analysis the data is deleted.

 

Security of Your Personal Data

PALAST GbR protects your personal data against unauthorized access, utilization and publication. PALAST GbR ensures that your personal information stored on the server is located in a secure, controlled environment in which unauthorized access and publication is prevented. When personal information of security relevance, such as credit-card numbers, are transferred, this information is protected by "secure socket layer (SSL)" coding. 

Please note that personal information that you publish in openly accessible areas, can be misused by other users.

 

Passing on Your Data

PALAST GbR does not pass on your person-specific data to third parties unless this is necessary for the processing of business transactions. The data transferred is limited to the necessary minimum.

If, however, PALAST GbR is obliged by law or by court decision to pass on such information, your data is given solely to state institutions and to public authorities authorized to take receipt of the information.

 

Amendments to these Data-Protection Provisions

PALAST GbR reserves the right to alter these security and data-protection measures where this is necessary due to technical developments. In such cases we will also alter our notes on data-protection accordingly. Please therefore ensure that you always observe the latest version of our data-protection statement.

 

Children

Persons under 18 should not send us person-specific data without the consent of their parents or persons with parental power. We ask for no person-specific data from children and adolescents, nor do we collect such information nor pass it on to third parties.

Retargeting & Remarketing

Our site uses DoubleClick remarketing pixel as a retargeting technology - a service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). These services allow us to reach PALAST GbR website visitors on the websites of our partners with targeted advertising of our products.

This form of advertising is entirely based on pseudonyms. We are hence not able to trace you or any visitor individually. The insertion of advertisement on the websites of our partners is done via Google AdWords based on a cookie technology ("DoubleClick cookie") and the last visit of a PALAST GbR website. The partners (except Google) won’t receive any information about the data stored in the cookie. The cookie saves an ID number along with the IP address of the computer you are using, which allows Google to determine how often you have visited that particular website. Except for the IP address, no further personal information such as email addresses, company names or phone numbers are stored. The data stored in the cookie is not merged with other personal data to create specific user profiles.

You can remove the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, through DoubleClick remarketing pixel on the deactivation page for DoubleClick, or on the Opt out page of the Network Advertising. You also have the right to oppose this provision.

By using this site, without the implementation of the above disabling functions, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google and the advertising circuit in the manner described above and for the purposes set out above.
